When should I replace my helmet?Updated 3 years ago

FXR recommends replacing helmets every 3-5 years depending on use, as UV damage, aging adhesive and components could reduce the effectiveness of the helmet. 

FXR highly recommends replacing your helmet if it has encountered the following:

• Your helmet has been involved in an accident 
• Your helmet has been dropped a distance greater than 4 feet
• If the shell, and/or the impact absorbing liner, and/or the retention system have been damaged.

These events may cause the safety of the helmet to be compromised, and the helmet will no longer offer the optimal level of protection.
